Can you spare £8 and 2-3 hours to have an enjoyable and meaningful walk around London on Sunday 6th July 2008?
If so, why not join our fundraising team on the Kidney Research Bridges Walk. It will cover 8 Bridges in London, spanning 7 miles. Interested? Your £8 (that's just £1 a bridge) registration fee will get you a special event t-shirt, a medal and certificate and your refreshments.
If you haven't seen all the sights in London, why not use this walk - which provides a great atmosphere - and offers an amazing chance to see some of London's landmarks, whilst helping Kidney Research UK.
The more the merrier for this event, we have a justgiving page set up, 3 events planned inc a BBQ party in June and all ideas are welcomed to raise as much as possible for the organisation. We also have a pin badge of 'Brenda's Billy Bear' our mascot that has been designed by myself with Kidney Research in mind with a Green awareness ribbon, soon to be available on this website.
We were driven to help this charity, with the sad passing of Brenda Rawlings, at just 61 years old, last year.
We walk in honour of her brave spirit and to support her family in celebrating Brenda's life
Please help us to raise much needed money to continue it's work to fund life saving research into Kidney Disease, to improve quality of life for those with Kidney disorders and to increase public awareness of Kidney health.
We have a justgiving page in which you can donate to, which is Kidney Research UK , we hope to raise at least £100 per memeber so dig deep and help us to achieve our target !!!
