British 10K London run for the Africa Educational Trust

Challenge:

 

" I am taking part in the British 10K London run on July 1st,can't believe that I am actually doing this as I've never done a run before and am scared that I might pass out after 5K!

I am running on behalf of the African Educational Trust. AET helps Africans whose lives have been affected by conflict gain access to education and training to help them rebuild their lives and communities.

" I managed to complete the British 10K London last Sunday with a time of 1.06.27. This was a much better time than I had anticipated. The weather was perfect and I only stopped once to tie up my laces!

 

I would like to thank you all once again for sponsoring me and helping me raise nearly £400 for AET. For those that have known me from my school days, I was crap at P.E and so this has been a huge challenge for me. I have enjoyed training for the past 2 months and intend on keeping up with the running. I felt such a buzz crossing the finish line and I anticipate doing more runs in the near future."
